Since I was not doing this regularly, you will find all the content from the bbgm podcast over on the main blog. Leo Laporte recently said that there is no reason to have text, audio and video separated. For the longest time, I didn’t believe in that, but experimentation in video has changed my thoughts. This site will maintain a repository of all audio content, but the main site will be the location of all content, regardless of media type.

After a prolonged hiatus, the podcast is back.
This one was recorded on video, and available on kyte.tv. This is an experiment and a result of my recent dabbling in video (using only a crummy webcam)

Travel and podcasting do not go well together. Should be back in action next weekend.

Next Saturday, I fly to Tokyo, so I had full plans to record a podcast this past weekend, but unfortunately a bug which I picked up on my last trip threw a spanner in the works. Hopefully I will be able to record one before my departure, but given my bandwidth, I seriously doubt it. Watch this space for an update.

Apparently a few people actually ended up listening to the first podcast and the response was very encouraging. I am going to follow Konrad’s advice and keep this around 15 minutes
The podcast was recorded late at night on Thursday. Need to start blocking out time for recordings, especially since I recorded the whole thing and then realized that something was wrong and had to do it all over again.

Here we go. The long hinted at first podcast. I didn’t do too much editing, and recorded it in one take, so you are getting all the blips and mistakes. Maybe as time goes along, I’ll clean up the production process. The one thing I need to figure out is background recording. I could not access all the links and information I wanted to discuss since I had to stay in the recording window. As I learn more about podcasting and embedded media, I am sure the presentation of the podcasts will improve as well. For now, you’ve have to live with the low tech approach.
So what are the relevant links for the first bbgm podcast
Please let me know what you think. All suggestions about content are more than welcome. For now, this is an experiment. Hopefully as I get used to the medium, the quality will improve.
