June 10, 2008 at 8:59 am Piotr ByziaI had doubts whether to comment on your other blog post on FF or blog, now it's clear ;)
-
June 10, 2008 at 9:06 am DeepakI am waiting for Disqus to integrate the FF commenting system and then I am all set

June 10, 2008 at 9:45 am Jigar MehtaShowing each and every individual name who liked the post on different line is not a good idea.. (Imagine you having 154 people who liked the post!)
-
June 10, 2008 at 9:54 am DeepakIn theory there is a minimized mode, but it's not working right now, and for the number of comments I get, it's somewhat safe. There aren't 154 people who'd comment on posts about bioinformatics here on FF:), not yet anyway. That would be a good problem to have though

June 10, 2008 at 11:01 am Roberto BoniniThis is nothing short of Brilliant. Anyone want to start a petition to get WP to enable it?

June 10, 2008 at 11:36 am TanathAwesome. :)

June 10, 2008 at 9:22 pm Mr. GunnIt's fairly simple to install, if you're running a self-hosted version, so I don't see why the hosted WP shouldn't have it available.

June 10, 2008 at 9:28 pm l0ckergn0meI installed it, but considering uninstalling it as very few of my blog feed entries on FriendFeed get comments - despite being worded as questions that should evoke answers in either location. Meh. Until FriendFeed has half the pull of Twitter... meh.

June 10, 2008 at 9:30 pm Ben ParrFriendFeed comments is going to be a game changer. Hell, it could challenge Disqus.
-
June 10, 2008 at 9:38 pm DeepakI was actually thinking about that. I get more comments here, so the FF plugin could easily replace disqus. In an ideal world, the FF comments will just integrate with the Disqus comment stream
-
June 10, 2008 at 10:16 pm Ben ParrThe only issues with FF Comments is the delay and the lack of critical mass. both will probably change later on, though. Imagine a world where all blog comments came and went through FriendFeed.

June 11, 2008 at 12:39 am Paul SimpsonIt'll get there, FF is still relatively unknown, but it is gaining in popularity. Don't give up on it to soon Chris.
