A life science company that’s on the programmable web
March 10, 2008
Remember Assay Depot? Some time ago, I wrote about the company’s virtual marketplace and yet to be launched platform. Well via a trackback, I found a post that not only mentions their upcoming beta launch in April, but goes through an entire process about how to set up an EC2 image. At the time of my original post, I had felt that the company seemed to get the programmable web. The knowledge that the company is using EC2, is willing to share their experiences, and other discussions (see disclaimer) only strengthen that opinion. If I was following the company earlier, I will be following them even more closely now.
Disclaimer: Since I wrote the original post, a former colleague and friend has joined Assay Depot’s marketing/bizdev team. Other than that, I have no interests in the company outside of intellectual and geek curiosity.
