Not at the Technology Review conference?

Update: The link seems to have diappeared. Will try and find out what happened. The post is still there in my feed reader

Update 2: I just heard back from Andy Plesser. Apparently, they tried to do the live stream, but had some technical issues. They did get some video segments which they will post over the next few days. I will update this post when the first ones appear

Beet.tv is there and streaming live will be posting segments over the week

  1. [...] The other day I noted that Beet.tv was going to cover the Emerging Technologies conference live (videos from talks are available, but for a not so cheap fee). Unfortunately, that didn’t quite work out, but they have started putting up interviews that they did. The first is one of Charles Simonyi by Jason Pontin (the editor-in-chief of Tech Review). I had a chance to see Charles talk about his experiences in Space at Scifoo. In this interview, he mostly talks about his company Intentional Software. I read Technology Review’s interview with him some some time ago. I get some of what he is trying to do, but I don’t get the exact advantages of why his approach is better than others and why there needs to be a company behind it.
