Sketchcasting: The bioinformatics version

I saw the term sketchcast for the first time on Jon Udell’s blog, and promptly forgot all about it until he used it again in a familiar context; the wonderful videos from CommonCraft.

Well turns out there is a new product out there called … Sketchcast, first reported on TechCrunch.

Our favorite cartoon guru bioinformatics blogger has already put the platform to the test using it for showcasing a bioinformatics tool (a tool internal to his company). Sketchcasts are certainly an interesting twist to the concept of screencasts, which of course I have a vested interest in.
