Your personal health: A series

With GINA right around the corner, I am going to write a few posts on personalized medicine over the next few weeks. Rather than try and get everything into one post I thought that breaking things up would be a better idea.

I have some pretty strong thoughts on personalized medicine, what it means and how it should impact us. Obviously working at a company that develops software being used for “personalized medicine” gives me some insights, but the goal is to try and keep discussions relatively general.

There has been a lot written on the web about personalized medicine lately. Look no further than David Hamilton and Blaine Bettinger for excellent articles on this subject. So hopefully there will be something new on these pages.

For starters check out an earlier post on Aetna’s CareEngine

Thanks for the mention! I’m really looking forward to learning more about your thoughts on personalized medicine, including the insights you’ve gained working in the field. The more people that talk about this topic the better, in my opinion.
