New adventures – a podcast

Moving podcast over to the main blog

So I finally bit the bullet and recorded my first podcast. I have a lot to learn about podcasting as a medium, so this is quite rough around the edges.

One of my original thoughts was to convert the Things I Noticed segment to a podcast, but the more I think about it, that does not convert well to a podcast. I suspect the weekly link love will return, while the podcast will become an alternative way of discussing a couple of key topics that have caught my attention over the two weeks (current plan) between podcasts.

I would welcome any comments, suggestions, content ideas. Hopefully over the next 2 months or so, the format and focus of the podcast will become a lot clearer.

Here we go. The long hinted at first podcast. I didn’t do too much editing, and recorded it in one take, so you are getting all the blips and mistakes. Maybe as time goes along, I’ll clean up the production process. The one thing I need to figure out is background recording. I could not access all the links and information I wanted to discuss since I had to stay in the recording window. As I learn more about podcasting and embedded media, I am sure the presentation of the podcasts will improve as well. For now, you’ve have to live with the low tech approach.

So what are the relevant links for the first bbgm podcast

Please let me know what you think. All suggestions about content are more than welcome.  For now, this is an experiment. Hopefully as I get used to the medium, the quality will improve.
